The 45-meter column Vendôme is under renovation, but as usual, the covering is of the highest quality! The Hôtel Ritz Paris in the same square at Place Vendôme is also undergoing renovation to obtain the coveted Palace distinction for hotels. Currently, only 16 hotels are bestowed this designation. Both the column and hotel are expected to reopen in 2015.
